Senior System Engineer, Corporate IT

Our team helps Sea develop a competitive advantage through defining our technology objectives, assessing solution options, and devising technical solutions that help us achieve both strategic goals and meet operational requirements. As a part of our team, you’ll help deliver seamless IT experiences and support to our employees at Sea by providing responsive helpdesk service, stable networks and reliable IT systems.

As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for corporate core system solutioning and architecture, implementation of various technical solutions to meet corporate requirements, and providing technical support in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, conduct planning and perform installation of office servers and systems
• Collaborate with HQ IT engineers and PM to plan and execute new projects
• Manage Active Directory (AD), enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM), backup systems and related IT services
• Manage office servers (Windows and Linux), VMware virtualization and handle system maintenance, operation and incidents
• Maintain detailed technical documentation for team members to review, learn and retrieve relevant information
• Continuously work on optimizing existing services and explore new technical solutions to address current and future challenges

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience operating in a similar role
• Strong server and system knowledge with hands-on experience
• MCSA / RHCSA / VCP or higher is a plus
• Experienced in AD, DNS, DHCP, NPS, Veeam backup, VMware virtualization or Enterprise MDM solutions
• May be required to provide on-call support
• Enthusiastic, willing to learn in a fast-paced environment, with good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with local and HQ teams
