National Air Logistics Gateway Development Manager

About the Role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. You will drive air gateway growth by optimising routes, capacity, and partnerships while improving service levels, cost efficiency, and network performance across Thailand and Cambodia.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth in Thailand and Cambodia by collaborating across multiple gateways (Vietnam, Hong Kong, EU, Singapore, Japan) to identify optimal solutions.
• Lead product creation, management, and execution to ensure sustainable growth.
• Partner closely with Gateway and Procurement Management teams to align strategies and deliver results.
• Support D/C/O collaboration to strengthen cross-functional efficiency.
• Provide competitive quotes for spot shipments, projects, and RFQs; manage ad-hoc customer queries and deliver spot quotes for key accounts (e.g., Nestlé, Thai Union).
• Work directly with APEX teams in Singapore, Hanoi, and Bangkok to enhance operational performance.
• Deliver real-time market updates to networks and D teams to enable agile decision-making.
• Maintain responsibility for Gateway tariffs in alignment with ZA-X and ZA-D; monitor customer KPIs and communicate one-time departure updates to GS.
• Share timely market insights with the national and global Air Logistics community.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in freight forwarding.
• Strong network and established relationships with airlines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in data analysis using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
