Site Electrical Engineer (Consultant, Delivery Management)

About the Role

Join our Built Environment business as a Site Electrical Engineer (Consultant, Delivery Management) and play an integral part in a team of specialists delivering infrastructure projects from rural access roads to complex freeways, toll roads, system interchanges and water security. Directly responsible to the Team Leader or Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, material submissions and procedures.
• Coordinate with designers for design information.
• Carry out site supervision, including attending site meetings.
• Ensure all technical aspects for relevant disciplines in the construction contract are met.
• Record defects, issue to the contractor and follow up on rectification work.
• Review and coordinate proposed construction or M&E installation.
• Attend and review testing and commissioning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Associate Electrical Engineer License or Professional Electrical Engineer License is a plus.
• At least 7 years of experience in electrical building services, especially data centre projects.
• Good command of English for report, letter and email writing; able to liaise with clients, contractors and manufacturers.
• TOEIC score of at least 500.
• Chartered status preferable.
