Operations Training Internship

About the Role

SiamSeaplane is looking for one intern for the implementation of a training system in order to comply with new Aviation regulations. Department: Operations. Other specific areas may also be open for consideration. The internship will be active for a few months pending the profile of the candidates. This is not a pilot position, and internships are not remote.

• general flight operations, ground operations, engineering and maintenance, seaplane operations, technical and sourcing, quality and safety

Trainings

• Learn about aviation, seaplanes, hospitality and lifestyle, and building a startup from the early stages into a thriving commercial business operation
• Implement training system & records with the operations team, in coordination with the Head of Training and Quality Insurance.
• Work across different departments on any other areas of the business, based on company’s needs, personal skills and interest when capacity allows

Operations

• Participate in the establishment and execution of the technical and operational processes, flight management, maintenance and engineering, ground operations, and/or quality and safety.

Requirements

• Currently study, or recently graduated, from related fields. Bachelor’s or Master’s program
• Being excited about hospitality, aviation industry, lifestyle & providing only the best services to guests
• Aviation knowledge & regulatory experience is a plus
• Knowledge of aviation operations and processes, especially for internships in Operations
• Showing initiative and being proactive, detail-oriented, and ideally be good with numbers
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail
• Have a polite, professional and positive attitude
• Own a laptop
• Thai nationality or foreigners with appropriate visa (for internships we do not provide visa support and work permits for foreigners)
• Knowledge or experience in the following programs or fields are a plus: CAAT/DGCA/SSCA, EASA and FAA regulation. Specific experience or technical knowledge related to your interested field within Operations is a plus.
