Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all areas under the Chemical Distribution Center (CDC), i.e. inbound/outbound/EHS/QA operations and local delivery to customers, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of all orders in accordance with corporate and departmental strategy.
• Lead and support Global/APAC LS Distribution strategy roll out in Thailand.
• Manage and provide leadership to improve capability, engagement and motivation for the self-running warehouse in Thailand.
• Liaise with other departments including manufacturing site, purchasing, CSR, planning and IE to coordinate warehouse activities.
• Ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operation to improve customer satisfaction, operation safety and compliance; drive continuous improvement.
• Organize EHS, Security and QA through corporate policies, GDP and ISO standards at the CDC.
• Project management including CAPEX and OPEX for expanding distribution capability in LS Thailand.
• Implement lean and Six Sigma concepts to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in logistics, supply chain, Bio-Pharm or Chemical background.
• 10+ years related operation experience including warehouse, transportation and planning.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Strong people management skills with experience leading a mid-size team.
• ERP (SAP) knowledge and implementation experience.
• Good leadership and familiarity with lean/Six Sigma concepts.
• Strong problem-solving capability, communication skills, teamwork, initiative and ability to work under pressure.
• Good English (spoken and written) and familiar with office software (Excel, PPT, etc.).
• Logical reasoning, numerical and technical skills.
