Designer (Motion/Graphic)

About the Role

Designer - Australia/Thailand (Midweight). Hybrid role: physically based in We Are Social's Bangkok office while remotely supporting the Sydney design team. Freelance position from the outset with potential to move into a permanent role after an initial three-month period. Work local (Thailand) hours (GMT +7). Bilingual: able to write and converse in both English and Thai.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and visualise content for social media and other channels
• Produce impeccably-crafted, socially-led creative ideas across multiple platforms at the speed of social
• Work virtually with the Sydney design team and manage multiple clients/projects within the working day
• Maintain high visual standards and quality control of own work; meet deadlines and budget requirements
• Self-initiate ideas and proactively contribute to briefs
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues at all levels and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in English and Thai
• Keep up to date with industry trends, platform requirements, social-first apps (eg. Capcut) and developments in AI

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in a digital, creative or social agency
• Degree-level education in graphic, digital or interactive design, fine arts, illustration or related discipline
• Proficiency in design for digital, particularly social media platforms
• Excellent knowledge of industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Motion design and video editing skills
• Ability to take direction and execute/create to a high standard under pressure
• Fluent in Thai and English
