Chief Financial Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with the CEO in driving growth, capital strategy, and long-term value creation. This role will play a critical leadership role in supporting expansion in renewable energy, managing large-scale investments, and leveraging capital markets and investment banking expertise to unlock business value.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key business partner to the CEO and Board and drive financial strategy aligned with business growth and transformation.
• Provide insights on expansion, portfolio optimization, and risk management.
• Lead capital structure planning (debt, equity, hybrid instruments) and structure/execute complex financing transactions including project finance, syndicated loans, bonds, and capital market instruments.
• Leverage investment banking expertise to support fundraising, deal structuring, and financial advisory, and build/maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
• Lead M&A, joint ventures, and new business investments; conduct financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence; identify and execute strategic investment opportunities in energy and infrastructure.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, FP&A, and compliance; ensure strong internal controls and full compliance with regulatory requirements, including SET regulations; lead investor relations and financial communication.
• Structure and manage financing for large-scale projects (e.g., power plants), monitor long-term project cash flow and financial performance, and manage risks related to construction, operation, and revenue stability.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, driving performance, capability development, and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally as CFO or equivalent in a listed or large-scale organization.
• Proven track record in energy, infrastructure, or other capital-intensive businesses.
• Strong experience in capital markets, investment banking, and complex deal structuring (e.g., project finance, syndicated loans, bonds, M&A).
• Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, investment strategy, and capital expansion with strong financial strategy and capital allocation capability.
• Strong understanding of financial governance, regulatory compliance, and investor relations in a listed company environment.
• Experience leading large, complex finance organizations and cross-functional teams with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical, commercial, and decision-making capabilities.
