Procurement Manager (General Supply)

Our growing company is looking to fill the role of Procurement Manager (Commercial and Business Support).

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging procurement team; ensure effective and continuous supply with timely decision-making to handle all operational activities along the procurement process and solve arising problems to mitigate business impacts and develop preventive plans.
• Set procurement KPI, formulate strategies and implementation plans, and closely monitor supply situations and price trends of packaging raw materials to analyze and evaluate situations.
• Control and manage the procurement negotiation process.
• Seek alternative supply sources to enhance purchasing efficiency with lower costs and reduced risk of supply shortage.
• Check selection of new vendors and conduct annual vendor evaluation.
• Approve purchase orders or verify issuance of purchase orders in the SAP system before sending to management for approval.
• Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers to enhance supply quality for sustainable growth.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports to present to management.
• Develop working processes and the team to enhance working efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or chemistry.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in procurement with team leadership experience.
• Indirect procurement background is required.
• Experienced with SAP.
• Strong leadership skills, talent in negotiations and networking.
• Proficiency in decision-making and numerical analysis.
• Good oral and written English language skills.
