Head of Quality

About the Role

Opportunity for a Head of Quality to join a well-established, international manufacturing business operating in the engineered products sector.

• Critical leadership role overseeing the quality function across four manufacturing plants
• Lead a team of 40+ quality professionals
• Report to senior leadership and work closely with global stakeholders
• Take ownership of quality from New Product Introduction (NPI) through production and customer delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall Quality function across the manufacturing plants
• Drive quality strategy, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives across all sites
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations (e.g. ISO)
• Oversee quality across the full product lifecycle, including NPI and production
• Manage customer quality issues, audits, and corrective/preventive actions
• Standardise processes and ensure alignment across all sites and with global teams
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve product and process quality
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of quality Engineers, Supervisors, and Inspectors
• Provide clear reporting and insights on quality performance to senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
• 10+ years’ experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working within a multinational company environment
• Proven track record leading large teams and managing multi-site operations
• Deep understanding of quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across functions and cultures
• Good command of English, with experience working with international stakeholders
