About the Role

Join our Equities Operations team which supports our Equities trading business in Macquarie Securities. Our team is responsible for handling post-trade life cycle controls for equities trading in global markets including trade allocation, booking, settlement, funding, reconciliation, and client management.

In this key role supporting equities trading in Asian markets with a focus on Thailand, you will work closely with the trading desks, international and onshore clients, custodian banks, external brokers and exchanges to manage pre-matching and settlement of client trading and help drive efficiencies and process enhancements in the day-to-day process as well as support change initiatives. You will manage timely funding and settlement for Asia equities trades in support of Macquarie Securities and its clients and provide subject matter expertise support for both Equities and Warrant products, with a broad exposure to post trade operations for equities in a collaborative and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-matching and settlement of client equities trades for Asia markets (focus Thailand)
• Coordinate with trading desks, clients, custodian banks, brokers and exchanges for trade allocation, booking and settlement
• Manage timely funding and cash management for settlements
• Perform reconciliations and post-trade lifecycle controls and manage institutional client flows
• Support change initiatives, drive process efficiencies and transformation programs
• Provide subject matter expertise for Equities and Warrant products and support client queries

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience working as an equities broker dealer in an operations role
• Product and process expertise in equities middle office, settlement and cash management with experience managing institutional client flows
• Strong understanding of control and risk frameworks within banking operations and how they apply to post trade equities processing
• Ability to drive and manage change and transformation programs, and identify solutions which achieve successful outcomes
