About the Role

Job Title: Native Brazilian Portuguese Localization Tester
Location: Bangkok, Onsite
Type: Freelance / Part-time

We are looking for highly skilled freelance Native Brazilian Portuguese Localization Testers to join our team on a project-by-project basis. Must be available to work ON-SITE (RWS Bangkok) when called.

Responsibilities

• Linguistic testing: checking the UI for translation errors, grammatical mistakes, spelling issues and other linguistic bugs.
• Functional & internationalization testing: identifying and reporting technical localization issues such as text truncation, layout problems, display errors and regional formatting inconsistencies.
• Bug reporting: clearly documenting and reporting issues using internal spreadsheets, providing detailed and actionable information.
• Execute test plans and complex test cases precisely, following detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• Native-level Brazilian Portuguese proficiency with strong linguistic expertise, cultural nuance and consistent terminology.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot subtle linguistic and functional issues.
• Technical proficiency with various devices (smartphones, smartwatches, etc.) and comfort using Google Drive and Google Sheets.
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to independently identify problems and propose solutions.
• Strong communication skills for clear, concise bug reports and feedback.
• Previous experience in localization, quality assurance or linguistic roles is a significant plus.
• Must be available to work onsite at RWS Bangkok when requested.
