A&A: Consultant - Senior Consultant (Accounting & Reporting Assurance)

Responsibilities

• Supervise team in fieldwork to complete accounting advisory engagements and other assurance engagements (other than financial statements audit).
• Conduct secondary and primary research through data gathering and client interviews.
• Develop effective client relationships to enable recommendations to be acted upon.
• Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base from project experiences.
• Understand objectives for stakeholders and clients, align performance to objectives and set personal priorities.
• Seek opportunities for growth, share knowledge and act as a brand ambassador.
• Collaborate with others, take accountability for results, and communicate to influence peers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; CPA qualification and Master’s degree preferable but not essential.
• Experience requirements by level: Analyst 1–2 years; Consultant 2–3 years; Senior Consultant 4–5 years experience in audit or accounting (or relevant knowledge/experience).
• Able to work effectively in dynamic international and local environments and develop positive working relationships with colleagues, managers and business-unit personnel.
• Excellent communication, strong written and oral presentation skills; bilingual in Thai and English.

• Technical accounting knowledge on IFRS, TFRS or US GAAP.
• Financial close, consolidation and reporting.
• Finance and accounting process and control.
• Enterprise Resource Planning system design and implementation.
• ESG reporting and assurance.
