Engineer - PCT

What We Offer

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and execute PCT instruments and equipment installation to achieve the required availability according to explosion hazard classification, legal electrical requirements and Covestro Global standard & regulations to ensure plant safe operation.
• Execute the unit/investment project (engineering, procurement, supervision of installation, documentation and testing) concerning PCT to ensure that they are safe and comply with Covestro standard.
• Maintain and review PCT documents and PCT standards and unit standards regarding PCT topics to ensure that they are correct and update.
• Provide all necessary technical information/support to all concerned areas, particularly in case of problem together with PCT technician and PCT staff to ensure effective operation.
• Maintain user access right of PCT applications in order to ensure data security.
• Maintain and backup system of PCS and process network to ensure data communication and interface communication are effective.

What You Offer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrument& Control/Electrical engineering or related field
• >5 years of experience in Instrument& Control/Electrical maintenance.
• Technical Problems solving skill related PCT maintenance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of PCT instrumentation, DCS systems and PLC’s.
• Technical knowledge electrical power distribution.
• Application of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
• Good communication in English
