Head of Corporate Banking Data Analytics

About the Role

Define and execute enterprise data strategy, including data governance, architecture, and the development of a trusted single source of truth across customer, product, portfolio, and risk data domains. Lead advanced analytics and management reporting to generate actionable insights for revenue growth, portfolio optimization, client segmentation, and risk management. Drive AI adoption across CIB by defining the roadmap, prioritizing high-impact use cases, and embedding scalable analytics and AI capabilities into business processes. Deliver market intelligence and strategic insights through sector, client, and macro analysis to support business planning and competitive positioning. Partner with senior stakeholders across business, risk, finance, and technology to align data initiatives with business objectives and translate insights into measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise data strategy, including data governance and data architecture to create a trusted single source of truth for customer, product, portfolio, and risk domains.
• Lead advanced analytics and management reporting to produce actionable insights for revenue growth, portfolio optimization, client segmentation, and risk management.
• Drive AI adoption across Corporate & Institutional Banking by prioritizing high-impact use cases and embedding scalable analytics and AI into business processes.
• Deliver market intelligence and strategic insights via sector, client, and macro analysis to support business planning and competitive positioning.
• Partner with senior stakeholders in business, risk, finance, and technology to align data initiatives with business objectives and translate insights into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in wholesale banking, Corporate Banking analytics, strategy, risk, data management, or related leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading enterprise data, analytics, or AI transformation initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Strong technical understanding of data architecture, analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, BI tools), and AI/ML applications in a financial services environment.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and drive cross-functional collaboration.
