Wealth Product Architect, Specialist (Total Wealth Solutions)

About the Role

We’re seeking a visionary strategist and product innovator to lead the design of next-generation wealth solutions, including unit-linked, index-linked, annuity, and endowment products. As Product Architect, you will originate new ideas, craft compelling product concepts, and shape a 3-year product pipeline. You’ll synthesize global trends, actuarial insights, and stakeholder needs into strategies that are both innovative and commercially viable.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative life insurance products (unit-linked, index-linked, annuity, endowment) and a 3-year product pipeline; research market trends, customer needs, and competitive gaps; apply actuarial insights to ensure commercial viability.
• Gather feedback from sales teams and key stakeholders; facilitate ideation sessions and build alignment across actuarial, distribution, marketing, and operations.
• Create compelling, data-driven narratives for C-suite presentations and influence decisions through clear, persuasive storytelling.
• Drive cross-functional product development from concept to launch; manage timelines, risks, and ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or MBA preferred; actuarial training or certification (partial or full) is a strong advantage.
• 8–15 years in life insurance, wealth management, or consulting, with a focus on product innovation, strategy, or proposition development.
• Exposure to global markets and product structures is highly valued; deep understanding of unit linked, index-linked, annuity, and endowment products.
• Strong actuarial intuition and financial product design skills; familiarity with market research, competitor analysis, and product benchmarking.
• Ability to lead without authority and influence diverse stakeholders; strong strategic thinking, storytelling skills, agile, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity; go-getter attitude with strong ownership and execution drive.
