Facility Engineer - MEP Design & Construction

Salary Range: 50,000 - 100,000 THB (Based on experience)
Location: Sukhumvit, Bangkok (Near BTS/MRT)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 18:00

Having recently established their Thailand operations as a strategic ASEAN hub, they deploy next-generation wireless sensor systems across factories, commercial properties, and smart offices to revolutionize energy efficiency and facility operations.

About the Role

They are now seeking a high-caliber Facility Engineer to serve as a founding member of their local technical team and spearhead their engineering footprint across the region. As the founding engineer in Thailand, you will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth and organizational expansion. You will take ownership of design and construction coordination for MEP systems (electrical, HVAC, and instrumentation) across commercial and industrial sites, with a potential path to group-level engineering responsibilities for the broader ASEAN market.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review civil and MEP construction drawings, ensuring technical accuracy.
• Support detailed design and planning for electrical, HVAC, and instrumentation layouts.
• Ensure project specifications comply with local engineering codes and safety regulations.
• Act as technical point of contact, collaborating with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Prepare progress reports, quantity take-offs (BOQ), and technical documentation.
• Participate in site meetings, quality control inspections, scheduling, and project handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in Facility Engineering with strong MEP coordination in building construction.
• Solid knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems; highly proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and modern project tracking tools.
• Intermediate level English proficiency (capable of professional reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and a self-driven "founding team" mindset.
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with instrumentation, control systems, or factory IoT infrastructure; a valid Thai Associate/Professional Engineering License is a plus.
