Responsibilities

• Develop websites and software applications to support engineering projects and business operations.
• Design, create, and maintain database structures to ensure efficient data management.
• Manage and support production line databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve digital tools and system workflows.
• Learn and gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and production line operations.
• Provide technical support for departmental activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and enhancement of internal tools and applications.
• This position is part of WD's Early Career program, providing structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Informatics, Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Internship/Co-op period: at least 4–6 months.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; motivation and enthusiasm for professional development.
• Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/verbal).
• Willingness to learn manufacturing and production environments.

Skills

• Programming and web technologies: Python, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, ASP.NET (C#).
• Backend development concepts: microservices, RESTful APIs.
• Database design and systems (MS SQL, MySQL, SQL).
• Experience or knowledge of container/orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
• Supportive skills for development and maintenance of internal tools and production databases.
