Senior Associate Data Centre Technical Architect

About the Role

As a Senior Associate DATA Centre Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you will design and implement robust and reliable DATA centre solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient infrastructure designs, shape DATA centre strategies, ensure security and compliance, provide pre-sales technical support, and act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the solution lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DATA centre solutions covering servers, storage, networking equipment, and physical security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into infrastructure designs.
• Provide pre-sales technical support, develop network architectures, and optimize virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and participate in scope determination, product pricing, and rFP/rFI responses.
• Manage client proof-of-concept initiatives and transition proposed solutions to the delivery team.
• Evaluate long-term DATA centre services to ensure they meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of DATA centre infrastructure components, networking technologies, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
• Knowledge of DATA centre security principles and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA).
• Ability to design and implement network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and virtual networking.
• Expertise in server and storage technologies such as virtualization, blade servers, SAN, NAS, and DATA backup systems.
• Familiarity with cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cloud architecture.
• Experience in a large-scale, multinational technology services environment and strong client engagement/technical consulting aptitude.
• Basic project management knowledge and experience.
