Energy Solution Engineer (HVAC Engineer)

As part of our ongoing business growth, we are strengthening our team to drive expansion and ensure long-term success. This role will be part of SPET, a subsidiary of SP Group, which delivers Cooling as a Service and district cooling solutions to developments across Thailand.

Responsibilities

• Technical validation of projects proposed by the Business Development teams.
• Survey sites to assess cooling requirements and identify efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Prepare feasibility designs and detailed designs, including engineering documents, technical drawings and tender specifications.
• Perform cooling load analysis, hydraulic calculations and piping system design.
• Perform chiller system efficiency calculations and HVAC equipment sizing and selection.
• Perform quality checks to ensure cooling systems operate efficiently and safely, conduct routine maintenance, cleaning and adjustments, and troubleshoot/diagnose issues.
• Optimize cooling system performance to minimize energy consumption and implement preventive maintenance strategies to extend equipment lifespan.
• Stay informed about industry developments and recommend improvements to systems and processes.
• Communicate with clients, engineers and technicians, provide customer support and deliver demonstrations on safe and effective equipment use.
• Write reports detailing findings, maintenance activities and system performance, present information to managers and coordinate resources across departments to meet project deliverables.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience in HVAC design.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit.
• Familiar with M&E design tools such as cooling load software, hydraulic analysis software and energy modelling software.
• Good stakeholder management skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in district cooling system design would be a plus.
• Good data management skills.
