Assistant Outlet Manager - La Tavola

About the Role

Assistant Outlet Manager - La Tavola at Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel. Onsite, full time. Responsible for supporting outlet operations to ensure excellent guest service, staff supervision, inventory control and adherence to company safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff work together as a team to deliver optimum service and meet guest needs; inspect grooming and attire and rectify deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness; complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being; assist guests and individuals with disabilities according to standards.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees; serve as role model and first contact for Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Follow company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications and work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets; identify and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
• Perform physical tasks as required: stand, sit, walk for extended periods; move/lift/carry/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds; inspect tools and equipment; move through stairs, ramps and confined spaces.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Related work experience: At least 2 years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None required; safety training and certifications to be completed as required.
