Accounting Manager (Stock Control)

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, guideline setting, reporting, and data analysis of inventory for all responsible companies to ensure reliable information for internal and external departments while protecting company interests.
• Monitor and resolve inventory issues, provide problem-solving recommendations, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ensure customs can close quarterly inventory accounts accurately and on time in accordance with customs regulations and Revenue Department requirements.
• Maintain stock accuracy between system and physical counts (cycle counts, monthly stock take, etc.) and drive continuous improvement of the cycle count process through problem identification and analysis.
• Verify and sign off inventory documents such as count summaries, adjustment reports, and product destruction approvals in compliance with Revenue Department regulations.
• Handle notifications and follow-up for pending items including INTRANSIT goods, pending adjustments, monthly inventory summaries, aging reports, non-moving inventory reports, credit notes, and product returns from the Pickup Counter to ensure timely financial closure.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive inventory management reports, including performance metrics, trends, areas for improvement, potential risks, and statistical analysis to support stock optimization and process improvement.
• Ensure completeness and timeliness of reports submitted to executives and government agencies, targeting 100% accuracy.
• Develop and improve workflows and documentation systems to shorten processing time and reduce organizational costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in a managerial role.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and strong analytical skills for inventory/statistical analysis.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
