MTC Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Employee Management
  • Supervise employee performance and provide recommendations on hiring, development, discipline, and termination.
  • Support the Training Manager by participating in teacher interviews, conducting language assessments, and assisting with hiring decisions.
• Teacher & Missionary Training
  • Train, coach, and evaluate teachers and missionaries.
  • Develop teachers through feedback, training, and support.
  • Ensure teachers effectively follow the approved MTC curriculum.
  • Support missionary well-being and individual learning needs.
  • Teach missionaries when needed.
  • Report teacher and missionary progress to the Training Manager.
• MTC Operations
  • Supervise daily MTC operations, including HR, finance, facilities, scheduling, travel, and other support services.
  • Ensure operations follow Church policies and standards.
  • Train and guide staff in completing their responsibilities.
• Leadership & Coordination
  • Coordinate with MTC leaders and support departments to address needs.
  • Provide information and recommendations to support effective MTC decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A returned missionary is an advantage.
• At least five years of any combination of equivalent years of related experience, higher-education, or completion towards an industry-recognized certification.
• Former leadership experience in a work setting.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Outstanding coaching, facilitation, and training skills and abilities.
• Knowledge and understanding of Preach My Gospel.
• Excellent interpersonal, prioritizing, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work well with people.
• Willing to receive and implement feedback.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Exemplifies missionary standards in dress, grooming, and behavior.
• Flexibility in work schedule (including working on Saturdays, public holidays, and evenings)
