Lean Engineering Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a Lean Engineering Specialist to drive factory performance and continuous improvement initiatives across operations. This role will act as a key bridge across regional manufacturing sites and support the development of lean capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficient utilization of equipment and resources
• Design layouts for assembly lines and material handling to improve productivity and flow
• Analyze machinery and production systems to ensure optimal factory performance
• Develop and implement operational sequencing and process specifications to enhance efficiency and quality
• Support product line improvements and drive process modifications aligned with business needs
• Lead and support factory improvement initiatives using lean methodologies
• Deliver training and coaching to employees and management to build continuous improvement capabilities
• Act as the key contact with regional manufacturing sites (Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Thailand)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• At least 5–8+ years of experience in Lean Engineering or continuous improvement in manufacturing
• Strong background in factory improvement / operational excellence projects
• Proven ability to train, coach, and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams
• Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a regional/global environment
• Willingness to travel or work abroad occasionally
