SCBAM-Asset Allocation (Associate Director – REIT focused)

Job Description

• Manage multi-asset portfolio with a focus on REITs, Property Funds, Infrastructure Funds and related asset classes for mutual fund, private fund and provident fund businesses.
• Implement investment strategies to achieve superior risk-adjusted performance relative to benchmarks and absolute return objectives.
• Analyze domestic and foreign REITs, Property Funds, Infrastructure Funds and related asset classes, as well as macroeconomics and financial markets to support investment decision-making.
• Participate in regular client review meetings and client’s pitching along with the marketing team to support the acquisition of new mandates.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields
• Experience at least 5 years in investment management or related fields; Direct experience in REITs, Property Funds, Infrastructure Funds, or real asset investments is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills in both qualitative and quantitative methods
• Knowledge of programming and data analytics tools will be viewed favorably.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Possess Fund Manager license, CFA will be an advantage
