Geotechnical Laboratory and Construction Site Technician H/F

About the Role

Ready to grow your skills in a supportive, dynamic team and tackle missions in risk prevention and control. We're recruiting a Geotechnical Laboratory and Construction site Technician for a long-term position in Lenta (VC), Italy.

• Perform specific tests on soil and rock using specialized equipment both in the laboratory and on site, in accordance with applicable regulations and technical tender specifications; record obtained values on test sheets
• Prepare official sampling reports and record data required for sample management
• Support the laboratory's organizational flow: material acceptance, registration, material collection and transportation to construction sites, warehouse management and sample archiving on site
• Process data and prepare test reports/certificates accompanied by graphics and documentation

Location: ITALY, Lenta (VC)

Contract: Fixed-term contract with a view to a permanent position. Compensation commensurate with candidate's experience.

Working time: Full-time, Monday through Friday (occasionally weekends or night shifts). Occasional multi-day business trips.

Qualifications

• Degree in technical or scientific disciplines
• Previous experience preferred; immediate availability
• Willingness to perform manual labor and use tools and testing machines
• Basic computer skills for Windows software (Office suite, especially Excel)
• Ability to work independently in planning and execution phases
• Communication skills and good interpersonal skills to interact with clients (construction management, contractors, agencies, contracting authorities)
• Flexibility in working hours according to laboratory or construction site needs
• Category B driving license (vans and cars)

Skills

• Versatility and aptitude for learning and mastering instrumental techniques, operating procedures and international standards
• Ability to process data, prepare periodic reports and manage documents
• Support laboratory logistics: material acceptance, registration, transport and archive management
