Loss Prevention Officer - Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa

About the Role

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system; lock property entrances when required.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and resolve safety hazard situations.
• Respond to accidents and emergencies; contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required and assist guests/employees during emergencies.
• Defuse guest/employee disturbances, escort unwelcome persons from the property, and call for outside assistance when necessary.
• Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts and notify appropriate individuals for accidents, attacks, or other incidents.
• Complete incident reports, Loss Prevention shift summaries/daily activity reports, and maintain confidentiality of all security/loss prevention and property reports/documents.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and conduct interviews with relevant parties.
• Follow company policies and procedures, complete safety training and certifications, and ensure professional uniform and appearance.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, assist individuals with disabilities, and support team goals.
• Physical requirements: stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs unassisted (and heavier with assistance); move through narrow/confined/elevated spaces and over uneven or slippery surfaces; reach, bend, twist, stoop as required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (preferred).
• Related work experience: No related work experience required.
• Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or certification: None required; some jurisdictions may have additional licensing/registration requirements to be considered for this position.
