Department Manager: Transformation & Strategy (Lotus’s & Makro)

About the Company

The Transformation Office (TO) team at CP Axtra works closely with senior leadership on priority strategic projects. We drive end-to-end impact: from identifying areas of opportunity and developing needle-moving strategic initiatives to driving large-scale transformation, ensuring that ideas translate into real business results.

Responsibilities

• Be assigned to 2–3 strategic projects at a time, working closely with a senior member of TO and the businesses/functions involved
• Co-lead strategic projects end-to-end with business stakeholders, including scoping to identify key sources of value and defining TO support
• Support strategy development, initiative design, problem-solving bottlenecks and managing escalations to ensure effective deployment of resources
• Provide fact-based challenge to raise ambition and drive faster, higher-impact outcomes
• Track execution, conduct root cause analysis where KPIs lag, develop mitigation plans and prepare concise action-oriented reports for Senior Executives/Board
• Lead and present findings and updates in senior management meetings and participate in major strategic discussions (e.g., weekly performance review)
• Identify overlaps, linkages and implications across workstreams and steer or course-correct as needed
• Identify additional pockets of value within or adjacent to existing workstreams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in corporate strategy or business development roles in major companies, ideally in Retail or Consumer Goods
• OR Senior Analyst / Senior Associate level from Strategy Consulting
• Prior experience in retail, consumer goods, e-commerce or related fields preferred
