AI Solution Architect

As a Microsoft partner, Norrin operates internationally across the Nordics, the United States and APAC. This role is for the Applied AI team in Bangkok with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture design and implementation of complex ML/AI solutions across multiple projects.
• Provide cross-team architectural leadership, aligning technical direction and ensuring consistency.
• Design scalable and maintainable system architectures that integrate data, models, and infrastructure.
• Drive the development and adoption of methodologies, frameworks, and design principles.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Guide tool, framework, and cloud platform selection for solution delivery.
• Mentor AI engineers and data scientists and support professional development across project teams.
• Support presales activities with technical expertise and effort estimation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution design, software architecture, or comparable technical leadership roles.
• Deep cross-functional expertise in system design covering modelling, data infrastructure, scalability, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Azure as the primary cloud platform, with AWS as a secondary platform; familiarity with ML tooling (e.g., Microsoft Foundry, Azure ML, SageMaker, Bedrock).
• Significant experience designing and delivering end-to-end ML/AI solutions, including AI agents, LLMs, and traditional ML systems using modern agentic frameworks and LLM tooling.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical execution with long-term architectural vision and to set technical standards across teams.
• Proven client-facing experience: managing expectations, leading technical discussions, and aligning solutions with business objectives.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide engineers at various career levels.
• Strong English skills (written and spoken) — English is the primary working language.
• Legal right to work in Thailand or a valid work permit; we are not able to provide visa or work permit sponsorship for this position.
• Educational background in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.

Additional Information

• Experience with data engineering principles and data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Background in consulting or professional services, experience in manufacturing/industrial domains, and exposure to presales or solution scoping are advantages.
