About the Role

Weerawong C&P is seeking junior associates to join the Real Estate Practice Group to work on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions. The practice handles acquisitions and disposals, development projects, commercial leasing, property financing, asset management, and represents developers, manufacturers, investors, and financial institutions in significant real estate matters. The role involves working closely with senior lawyers and partners, offering early-career exposure and substantial responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support advisory work on acquisitions (freehold and leasehold), disposals, development and real estate/construction matters across various asset classes
• Conduct legal research and regulatory analysis related to real estate, construction and transactional matters
• Assist in drafting legal memoranda, commercial agreements, transaction documents and concise summaries of Thai laws and regulations
• Contribute to legal feasibility assessments, identifying key risks, regulatory constraints and structuring solutions for complex projects
• Summarize and analyze information and legal issues arising from legal due diligence and related transactions
• Support legal due diligence, including review of permits, licenses and regulatory compliance matters
• Coordinate with clients, government authorities and relevant parties to support transactions and participate in meetings with stakeholders

Qualifications

• LL.B. from a leading Thai university with a strong academic record
• 2-3 years of relevant experience with demonstrated interest in real estate, construction, property development and transactional work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex legal issues into practical advice
• Excellent legal research and statutory interpretation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills in Thai and English
• Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to high-quality work
