About the Role

Western Dairyland's Child Care Partnership program is hiring a Family Resource Center (FRC) Administrative Assistant. Part-time (20 hours/week), Monday–Thursday. Wage: $20.83–$22.00 per hour. The FRC Administrative Assistant uses strength-based practices to support parents and caregivers of young children, focusing on program support through data collection, data entry, reporting, social media, marketing, and family event support. The role helps families connect with community resources and child care services and assists with outreach and promotion of FRC services.

Responsibilities

  • Help families find community resources and child care options; share program flyers, resources, and information with families.
  • Support program activities by providing child care, assisting with food preparation, and collecting intake forms, sign-in sheets, and surveys.
  • Keep resource and referral information up to date and maintain a clean, organized Family Resource Center; assist with setup and takedown of learning areas.
  • Utilize Canva to create flyers, posters, newsletters, and other marketing materials to promote programs, services, and events.
  • Help manage social media posts and online program promotion; attend community events to share information about FRC programs.
  • Track program attendance and participation data; collect demographic information, participant feedback, and family pre/post assessments using established forms.
  • Enter program data into systems such as DAISEY, Form Assembly, and spreadsheets; contribute to reports by due dates and keep files and records organized.
  • Participate in Western Dairyland and CCP meetings, understand and adhere to agency personnel policies, and represent the agency to the public.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in early childhood education, communications, marketing, business administration, administrative professional studies, or a related field (required).
  • Preference given to bilingual candidates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with social media, marketing, or outreach preferred.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle; must meet WDEOC's insurability requirements.
  • Approvable criminal background check and Annual Registry Certificate required.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Canva and social media platforms for promotion and outreach.
  • Data entry and data tracking in DAISEY, Form Assembly, and spreadsheets.
  • Microsoft Office, including Excel, for data management and reporting.
