Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements and other assurance information, helping enhance the credibility and reliability of this information for stakeholders. As an External Financial Audit Associate, you will support financial statement audit engagements by assisting the team in obtaining reasonable assurance on whether the financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error. You will work with clients across various industries, perform audit procedures, prepare documentation, and learn to apply professional and technical standards under the guidance of senior team members.

• Assist in external financial statement audit engagements.
• Perform basic audit procedures and review supporting documents.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation.
• Support testing of internal controls and financial information.
• Gather and analyze information to identify issues or patterns.
• Communicate with clients to request and clarify information.
• Work effectively with seniors, managers, and team members.
• Apply a learning mindset and take ownership of your development.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, curiosity, and professional skepticism.
• Learn and apply auditing standards, accounting standards, and PwC methodology.
• Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, independence, and the firm’s code of conduct.
• Participate in training and feedback to continuously improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing concepts.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good command of English and Thai, both written and spoken.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and interest in developing a career in external audit.
• Willingness to learn and leverage AI and digital tools in audit work
