R&D Production Supervisor (Thailand)

About the Company

Enza Zaden is a leading international vegetable seed company focused on developing varieties with better taste, yields and resistance. The R&D Production Supervisor will join an international team in Khon Kaen, Thailand, contributing to execution and management of seed production and farm trials.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage farm trials for various crops, ensuring trial success and good observations for timely selections.
• Implement crop-specific agronomy practices and take care of crops according to trial requirements.
• Maintain records of agronomy practices, collect trial data, generate yield data and record observations.
• Enter data into computer systems and submit to the trial owner within timelines.
• Collaborate closely with Station Manager – R&D SEA for farm maintenance and activity planning.
• Coordinate with the breeding team to plan and communicate trial activities and trial visits at the right time.
• Plan and communicate trial material needs and general purchases on a quarterly basis and obtain necessary approvals.
• Prepare monthly reporting of farm activities, procurement status and billings; provide periodical updates on trial status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of vegetable crop production and experience in trial planning, execution and crop management.
• Comfortable working with digital data collection tools and entering data into computer systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple trial locations; enjoys working outdoors.
