Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machine according to hotel specifications and standards to wash designated restaurant and kitchen wares.
• Clean and maintain equipment and Dishwashing/Kitchen/Cafeteria/Compactor and storage areas.
• Assist in washing pots, pans and other kitchen utensils.
• Support the kitchen team by providing clean equipment and maintaining workflow.
• Complete special cleaning projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Steward in hotels or restaurants.
• Perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy and follow-through.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.
