Mechanical Construction Specialist III

About the Role

We’re looking for a QAQC Piping Mechanical Engineer (Mechanical Construction Specialist III) to join our Thailand team in the Bangkok office. Onsite, full-time. The role is to manage and execute quality assurance and quality control activities for piping, mechanical, and pipeline systems across projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of piping fabrication, installation, and construction activities
• Review material certificates, NDT reports, and QA/QC documentation
• Witness key activities including fit-up, welding, hydrostatic testing, and final inspections
• Prepare and review test packages, Material/Datasheet Records (MDR) and final handover documentation
• Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with applicable codes and procedures
• Identify non-conformance and support corrective actions with project teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in QA/QC for piping, mechanical or pipeline projects
• Knowledge of ASME, API, AWS codes and QA/QC practices
• NDT Level II and/or CSWIP certification preferred
• Ability to read drawings, isometrics, and inspection reports
• Thai language is essential due to necessity of interacting with Thai-speaking clients
