About the Role

Round 2 – Procurement, Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of a Vertical Waste Compactor (12 Tons) for the Khok Khan Community Waste Bank, Trang Municipality, Trang Province. Trang Municipality is experiencing increased municipal solid waste due to economic expansion. The Khok Khan Community Waste Bank requires a vertical waste compactor to optimise waste segregation, volume reduction (compression), storage, transportation efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Objectives

• To acquire a vertical waste compactor specifically designed for operational use at the Khok Khan Community Waste Bank.
• To enhance storage and transportation efficiency by effectively reducing the volume of recyclable waste.
• To promote sustainable waste management practices through environmentally responsible, community-driven initiatives.
• To strengthen the operational capacity of the Waste Bank as a community facility for waste management and environmental education.

Responsibilities

• Design, manufacture and supply the vertical waste compactor with components suitable for tropical, high-humidity environments.
• Safe transportation to the designated site and professional mechanical installation of the system.
• Complete electrical setup and connection to the facility’s main power supply, including necessary wiring, cabling and appropriate circuit breakers or control panels.
• Commissioning and performance testing to verify full operational functionality and adherence to safety standards.
• Provide on-site operational guidance and training for designated personnel.
• Provide a comprehensive twelve (12) month warranty covering all parts, components and labor from the date of final acceptance.

• Pricing: Proposed price shall be all-inclusive covering equipment, delivery, mechanical and electrical installation, and initial high-quality hydraulic oil.

Warranty

• Warranty Period: Twelve (12) months from the date of final acceptance covering all parts and mechanical failures.
• Supplier to repair or replace any defective parts at no additional cost to the project.

Payment Terms

• First Installment (Down Payment): 50% of total contract value upon order confirmation and contract signing.
• Final Installment: Remaining 50% upon successful delivery, installation, electrical setup, commissioning and final acceptance.

Budget

• Total Proposed Price must be within the designated project limit and be all-inclusive, covering equipment cost, VAT, transportation to the Khok Khan Community Waste Bank, professional installation (including all electrical wiring and setup materials), initial hydraulic oil supply and all other relevant expenses.
• No Hidden Costs: Supplier responsible for all logistics and operational setup costs until equipment is fully commissioned and accepted.
