About the Role

Senior IT Solution Architect II at Lotus's. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Solution Architect with a strong background in database technologies, coding languages, and extensive experience in the retail domain. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions. Working Style: Hybrid (2-3 Days at the office). Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and technical leadership to the development team in Java best practices and design patterns.
• Lead the design of software architecture and ensure Java solutions meet project requirements.
• Anticipate and identify technical impediments and solve them with architecture design, technology choices, or prioritization.
• Oversee code reviews, maintain code quality, and mentor team members through pair programming and coaching.
• Optimize Java applications for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Foster teamwork, facilitate communication, and encourage knowledge sharing among team members.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders to provide technical insights and solutions to meet project goals.
• Work with the Product Owner to align the roadmap with strengths and opportunities within the existing architecture.
• Co-create engineering practices, coding style guidelines, testing approaches, and pursue continuous improvement in technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with significant experience in the retail domain.
• Expertise in Core Java and advanced object-oriented programming principles (e.g., SOLID).
• Proficiency in Spring Boot for building microservices.
• Significant experience in designing and using RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs, and working with asynchronous message queues and services.
• Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale distributed architectures, particularly microservices-based architectures.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis).
• Required experience with AWS tools including ECS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and RDS; AWS certification is an advantage.
• Comfortable with modern DevOps practices and tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and ElasticSearch.
