Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment Engineering (Master's Degree - Urgent Need)

Responsibilities

• Support design, procurement, and implementation of assembly tooling and equipment for BE HDD operations, and maintain equipment documentation, specifications, and performance records
• Coordinate with vendors on tooling qualification and installation
• Assist in automation project execution from concept to deployment, including programming, testing, validation of automated assembly processes, and documenting automation workflows and SOPs
• Support predictive maintenance program implementation: collect and analyze equipment performance data, assist in developing maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance plans, and support IoT sensor integration and monitoring systems
• Drive KPI improvements (OEE, yield, cycle time, downtime reduction), support root cause analysis for equipment and process issues, participate in sustaining activities for new processes and tools, and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Early Career talent; fresh graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of experience encouraged to apply
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, AI Robotics Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment and familiarity with automation concepts and control systems
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 concepts
• Programming skills (Python, PLC, or similar) and internship/project experience with maintenance management systems
• Knowledge of HDD process & technology, HDD quality management, ESD & contamination
• Detail-oriented with project management aptitude and good level of English (written/verbal)

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience with SolidWorks/AutoCAD, PLCs, and Python preferred
• Data analysis skills (Excel, basic statistics)
