About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Enterprise Architect. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework, strategy, and principles to ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions across CPN’s business. This position plays a critical role in shaping the organization's technology landscape, promoting innovation, and driving efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap; define and maintain architectural principles, standards and guidelines; ensure alignment with business goals and identify opportunities for improvements and innovation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technology requirements; create architectural designs and solution blueprints for complex projects; assess and validate solutions for adherence to standards; conduct impact assessments for technology changes.
• Recommend technology adoption and implementation; monitor industry best practices and emerging technologies; collaborate with IT leadership to establish technology roadmaps.
• Define and implement enterprise architecture governance processes; maintain and improve the Architecture Review Board process; develop and maintain reference architectures and artefacts (Technical Reference Model, Business Capability Model, principles, templates); provide guidance to project teams on compliance.
• Act as a trusted advisor and build relationships with business partners; facilitate discussions to resolve architecture-related challenges; present and communicate architectural decisions to diverse audiences and senior management.
• Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, models and diagrams; ensure artefacts are up-to-date and accessible; document and communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs.
• Lead strategic planning and transformational initiatives; identify opportunities to optimize technology investments, reduce complexity and recommend performance improvements and cost savings; collaborate with DT teams to implement changes.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in IT, Engineering, or related business degree.
• At least 12 years in varying IT roles across strategy, architecture, engineering, delivery or operations with increasing responsibility; at least 7 years in enterprise architecture and experience in at least one discipline (application development, data or infrastructure).
• Experience developing Enterprise IT Governance processes aligned to industry frameworks (e.g. COBIT) and experience in Cyber Security Risk Management using frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, COBIT.
• Proven experience influencing senior/C-level executives and large cross-functional teams; experience delivering strategy, roadmaps, reference architecture and standards.
• Exposure to Operational Technology Architecture in a retail and property management context is welcome.
• Certifications advantageous: enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Zachman), project management (Prince2, PMP), cloud architecture (Azure, AWS), security (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC).
