Making and Utility Process Engineer

About the Role

This role is working as technical and process leader in production department. Be business partner with operation manager to deliver robust machine, and technical process supporting production output and goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Performance improvement.
• Reduce scrap or waste loss from production and related systems.
• Minimize quality outage and optimize product output rate in production system by addressing planned losses.
• Improve staff utilization with work optimization.
• Manage production work process/system – process control, equipment condition and parameter monitoring system.
• Lead analysis when process or equipment failure occurs for root cause understanding; implement countermeasure actions for both immediate and systematic solutions (Analytical Problem Solving).
• Maintain and deploy technical standards/procedures for operation team to consistently sustain operation performance per improvements made.
• Prepare and deploy training package for production team to operate with new improvements; track and monitor improvements until stabilized and sustained as ongoing production.
• Act as initiative launch Production Leader to ensure readiness (impact and countermeasure plan) in production area to enable success of new product initiatives from Day One.
• Implement and ensure compliance with Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) in alignment with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
• Oversee identification of risks and hazards, ensure proper risk evaluations and development of mitigation measures for health, safety, and environmental impacts.
• Define, track, and align health, safety, and environmental performance objectives; ensure team goals are achieved and continually improved.
• Ensure adherence to applicable legal requirements and address any non-compliance issues.
• Foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness; lead by example and motivate employees to prioritize health, safety, and sustainability.
• Lead sustainability initiatives, monitor environmental metrics (e.g., energy, waste), and ensure continuous improvement by analyzing data and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure employees are properly trained and engaged in health, safety, and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in any field; preferable Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical.
• Analytical skill for statistics, data and trend analysis, with logical thinking for root cause conclusion and action planning (immediate + systematic actions).
• Leadership skill to lead group activities on the production line.
• Collaboration and ability to work effectively with peers, subordinates and managers.
• Willingness to learn, adapt background knowledge and take on challenges.
• Excellent English communication.
• Open for New Engineer Graduate, or 0–3 years experience on Production Process.
