Solution Architect - Enterprise

About the Role

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a talented presales professional to join us as a Solutions Architect in Thailand, covering the Thailand market. You will work with customers to build trust with engineering, development, and operations teams, align business needs with Red Hat solutions, and design and deliver evaluations, proofs of concept, and pilots across Container Platform, PaaS, IaaS, cloud management, DevOps, and middleware.

Responsibilities

• Perform discovery of customer needs based on engagements and recommend effective support methods
• Close sales of proposed projects and document proofs of concept
• Deliver Red Hat solution workshops (Container Platform, DevOps, Virtualization, IT Automation) for mixed technical and non-technical audiences
• Deliver and support high-quality proofs of concept and pilots with local teams to increase customer confidence
• Evangelize modern application development practices by presenting at customer/partner events and industry conferences
• Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to satisfy complex customer requirements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in presales
• 1+ year(s) of experience in cloud and container-based solutions such as OpenShift, AWS, AKS, GKE, or Rancher
• Experience designing and operating medium to large-scale enterprise and cloud infrastructures, databases, and application systems with high availability requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extensive experience presenting to IT managers and C-level executives
• Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services

Skills / Required Skills

• Knowledge of container platforms and Kubernetes-based solutions
• Experience with cloud providers and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with container tooling (Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)

The following are considered a plus

• Experience with automation frameworks and Infra-as-Code tools (e.g., Red Hat Ansible and/or Terraform)
• Experience with modern application development technologies and middleware implementation practices
• Experience with agile development methodologies and related toolsets for rapid application development and deployment
