About the Role
We are hiring for the Global Employee Relations Team as a Senior Consultant, Employee Relations. The role is focused on advising managers and partnering with Legal/Compliance, HR Business Partners and senior leaders to manage complex employee relations matters, identify trends, and improve people management practices. Role location: Bangkok (relocation provided).
Responsibilities
- Act as subject matter expert on compliance, company policies and procedures; provide advice to managers and employees.
- Coach, counsel and guide managers on performance management and misconduct cases; support execution and tracking of disciplinary actions per local laws.
- Handle terminations, ensuring correct steps and documentation to minimise labor claim risk.
- Conduct impartial investigations into grievances and serve as a dedicated ER partner; identify trends and insights to inform process improvements.
- Manage ER case timelines and deliverables, providing timely stakeholder updates and high-quality documentation.
- Analyse performance management data and past misconduct cases to develop recommendations for capability building, policy revisions, training and improved management practices.
- Act as an HR Business Partner to a dedicated department, sharing actionable insights and trends.
- Lead automation and process improvements for internal HR processes such as performance management and offboarding.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or related field.
- 8–10+ years’ experience in Employee Relations or HR Business Partnering/Generalist roles, with deep expertise in employment law, complex investigations, disciplinary processes, terminations, workforce reductions and high‑risk ER matters across multiple jurisdictions or business units.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders on sensitive, business‑critical people issues while balancing legal risk, employee experience and organisational culture.
Skills / Required Skills
- Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking and sound judgment when navigating complex, high‑impact ER matters.
- Ability to operate independently and provide strategic recommendations on ER risks, case management and people practices.
- Strong stakeholder management with credibility to influence senior leaders and challenge perspectives constructively.
- High attention to detail, ownership, reliability, discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to cope with ambiguity, manage change and prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven capability to identify trends from ER data and drive improvements in policies, processes, training and manager capability.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; strong communication skills to articulate risks, recommendations and case strategies to senior stakeholders across geographies.

- Multicultural or international experience and experience leading regional or enterprise‑wide ER projects, policy enhancements or process transformation initiatives are advantageous.
