Location: Lat Krabang ICD Terminal 1 Bangkok Thailand

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce HSSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all operational areas including yard, CFS, workshop, and gate.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance, ensuring timely corrective actions.
  • Perform risk assessments for operational activities and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented prior to execution.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and enforce proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Deliver safety induction programs, training sessions, and awareness campaigns to promote safe working practices.
  • Provide technical safety guidance on lifting operations, equipment handling, confined space, and other high-risk activities.
  • Ensure safe operation of container handling equipment such as reach stackers, forklifts, and prime movers in accordance with safety standards.
  • Control and monitor contractor activities, ensuring compliance with permit-to-work systems and HSSE requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HSSE documentation including incident reports, audit findings, inspection records, and compliance logs.
  • Prepare and submit HSSE performance reports, including KPI tracking such as incident rates, audit results, and compliance levels.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness by coordinating drills, verifying availability of emergency equipment, and supporting response planning.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through continuous communication, behavioral safety initiatives, and leadership engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including authorities, on all HSSE-related matters.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance and reduce operational risks.

Position Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HSSE within logistics, container yard, terminal, or heavy industrial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations, risk management practices, and safety compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience in incident investigation, safety audits, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with safety requirements for heavy equipment operations and industrial environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication and training delivery capabilities.
  • Ability to enforce safety compliance and influence behavior across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office and safety reporting systems.
  • Good command of English for reporting and coordination.
  • Willingness to perform field-based work in a dynamic operational environment.
