Manager - IT Prioritization & End User Computing Architect

Responsibilities

• Work with IT prioritization committee to support the organization’s strategic goals in an efficient manner.
• Periodically review detailed records of IT resource effort for each request.
• Analyze IT resource utilization as a feedback loop for the ITP process and anticipate related process changes and their impacts.
• Establish and maintain end user access to IT computing resource inventory and perform recertification of end user access.
• Work with solution architect to provide appropriate solutions for end user access to computing resources.
• Develop options related to end user computing for implementation of new or improved business processes to facilitate long-term improvement initiatives.
• Investigate and make final recommendations on end user computing and anticipate technological evolutions.
• Deliver business solutions in accordance with customer requirements and proactively anticipate business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in software and system architecture design, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and application security standards.
• Proven experience overseeing/vendor management for implementation of system solutions.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture and database design.
• Good problem-solving skills with strong customer-service orientation.
• Strong verbal and written English with good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
