Responsibilities

• Assign the engineering team according to daily work schedule to handle planned maintenance and respond to guest requests and emergency situations.
• Supervise the engineering team in the effective completion of their duties.
• Work with other operational departments to ensure they have all required engineering support to perform their duties.
• Guest rooms maintenance according to required standards.
• Responsible for fire safety of the hotel procedure.
• Closely coordinate with all other departments of the hotel to maintain their equipment in day-to-day operation.
• Supervise work of external contractors on behalf of the hotel and support external inspectors in the execution of their inspections.
• Maintain tools — clean, lubricate, protect and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in general maintenance and repair processes.
• Proficiency in using tools, appliances, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and manual dexterity.
• Good physical condition and ability to work extended hours when required.
