Senior Accountant (GL-TAX)

Job Overview:

This role ensures the accuracy of our financial records and full tax compliance across our entities in Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia. Working closely with the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant (GL-TAX) leads day-to-day general ledger integrity, monthly closing, tax preparation and submission, data validation, and audit support, while continuously improving accounting processes across the business.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and technically strong in accounting, taxation, and system optimization. Experience in e-commerce or retail is a valued advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Accounting Manager in leading the team to uphold high standards of accounting and tax compliance for our entities in Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and support the monthly financial closing process.
• Analyze and validate aggregated data drawn from company systems.
• Reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare tax calculations and manage timely submissions.
• Support the preparation of data for tax refunds.
• Support the annual statutory audit and tax audits.
• Improve accounting processes across the company's varied business activities.
• Perform other accounting and finance tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 4–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax.
• Strong working knowledge of TFRS for NPAEs and tax compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, together with the drive to explore the full functionality of our ERP system (Odoo) and an appetite to innovate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Experience in e-commerce or retail is a plus.
