BI&IT Director

About the Role

BI&IT Director at Srichand United Dispensary Co.,Ltd. Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business intelligence strategy, leading the BI/data team, and driving data-driven decisions across product, marketing, sales and operations in the cosmetics/FMCG context.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of business analysts, data scientists, and data engineers to ensure effective delivery of insights and analytics.
• Oversee collection, integration, and management of data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques to extract insights, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders real-time access to KPIs and actionable insights.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to maintain data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop data-driven strategies for product development, marketing, sales, and operations.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the cosmetics industry.
• Manage department budget and allocate resources for BI initiatives.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to executives and department heads, translating complex data into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, data science, statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience (8+ years) in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles in project management and implementation, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Familiar with data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python).
• Familiar with Project Management tools (e.g., Asana, Microsoft Planner).
• In-depth knowledge of data analytics, data visualization and action plan implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in the cosmetics industry or FMCG is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security (e.g., PDPA).
