Job Description

• Review mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee mechanical construction activities and monitor contractor performance.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve technical and design-related issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
• Ensure mechanical installations comply with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor construction progress and support testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies, technical issues, and site-related challenges.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain relevant technical documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, including mechanical design and construction.
• Strong mechanical design experience, including HVAC, cooling systems, and other mechanical building services.
• Experience in large-scale construction projects.
• Experience working with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) or General Contractor (GC) companies is preferred.
• Data center project experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, construction practices, and applicable standards.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
