Sales Representative

What You’ll Do

• Lead sales activities to achieve sales targets, contributing to a business size covering approximately $3 Million+ in new business annually.
• Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts, focusing on the automotive segment.
• Conduct RFQ studies, submit techno-commercial offers, negotiate, and close agreements based on customer requirements.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics, suggesting improvements for enhanced results.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
• Liaise with and work alongside sales teams and engineers.
• Provide feedback for future product development, features, and functions.
• Prepare and manage action plans for direct reports, overseeing daily activities.
• Conduct research to identify new potential customers and market opportunities.
• Implement action plans for market penetration, including demos, trials, and technical presentations.
• Track competitor activities and keep management informed of significant market developments.
• Build and maintain an up-to-date potential customer database.
• Support the brand as a solution provider for relevant customer requirements.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
• Report as part of a team structure, while incentives are evaluated on an individual performance basis.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
• A minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in automotive segment sales.
• Good command of English and computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or N3 level) is highly desirable.
• Valid driving license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player mindset.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
