Responsibilities

• Industrialize new products and new technology into production and ensure SOP of new products and technologies according to R&D requirements and plant objectives.
• Act as main technical interface between plant and R&D, maintaining open and honest communication and translating R&D requirements into plant impacts (investment, capacity, capability).
• Assess plant readiness based on future R&D requirements in terms of investment and capacity.
• Provide technical support by triggering necessary industrialization activities, business improvement measures and by offering technical alternatives optimized for process capability, cost and minimized rework.
• Execute industrialization activities of new and experimental materials, products and processes in close cooperation with R&D; trigger performance-neutral alternatives when required.
• Support planning and manufacturing of experimental tire orders; ensure on-time delivery and reporting.
• Lead structured problem-solving tasks/projects for industrialization challenges and ensure internal KPIs are met, initiating corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Initiate Value Leadership measures to improve direct material and process costs according to plant objectives.
• Supervise and manage projects related to industrialization and continuous improvement and work with plant project management structures for timely implementation.
• Ensure implementation of measures, maintain controls, and raise awareness of ESH responsibilities and duties within the plant organization.
• Promote teamwork and efficient distribution of tasks within the 3-4-1 and business team concept in the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in PI, R&D or related field.
• Experience working in a large international corporation and in complex matrix organizations.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated intercultural sensitivity and inclusive behavior.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work under time pressure.
• Fluent in English communication.
