Operation & Maintenance Leader – Solar Energy (Phetchaburi)

About the Role

Operation & Maintenance Leader – Solar Energy based in Phetchaburi. Supervise O&M staff to control electricity production of a renewable power plant, ensuring safe, efficient operation and compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise O&M staff to control electricity production, resolve issues during operation to ensure continuous production, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise preparation of daily reports, logbook, log sheets, troubleshooting reports, and work instructions (WI).
• Plan daily electricity production to achieve production targets.
• Prepare weekly reports, monthly reports, and invoices.
• Prepare and implement work process improvements and collaborate on long-term production and performance improvement strategies, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Collaborate to prepare PM plan and CM schedule, TORs, and manage spare parts/inventory, including issuing purchase requisitions (PR) to facilitate procurement.
• Supervise PM and CM activities of O&M staff or contractors, verify PM/CM/RCA reports.
• Ensure the plant complies with all licenses, regulations, and laws.
• Supervise adherence to company safety measures and waste management, including verifying permits to work and other safety documents.
• Collaborate on risk assessment and mitigation plans and handle warranty claims.
• Conduct technical training for O&M staff.
• Support and be aware of quality, environmental, occupational health & safety, environmental safety, and social management systems (ISO 14001, 9001, 45001, ESMS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, energy, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in operations & maintenance (O&M), construction, or field service of solar power plants, solar rooftops, solar floating, wind power plants, or conventional power plants.
• Mature character with ability to contribute to the team; able to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills preferred; ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and maintain thorough follow-up to meet deadlines.
• Able to focus on essential information and identify key details.
• Able to work in the upcountry (Phetchaburi); local candidates from the project area are preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Good English both written and verbal (Minimum 600 TOEIC score).
